When a trial ends

Your screens never go dark

When your trial ends, your displays keep playing the last content you published. Your account moves to read-only mode. You can log in, browse everything, and export your content. You simply will not be able to publish changes until you subscribe. Accounts that stay unsubscribed for 90 days are archived with everything saved, ready to come back the moment you subscribe.

What counts as a screen?
Any display currently paired with Screenstead. An Apple TV, an Android TV, or a browser player each count as one active screen. Users, locations, playlists, scheduling, and the mobile app are all included, so active screens are the only thing you pay for.
Can I add or remove screens?
Yes, anytime. When you add a screen, the charge is prorated immediately, so you only pay for the time it is active. When you remove a screen, the difference is credited on your next invoice. A subscription always bills for at least one screen.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?
Yes. Open Manage billing in the console to switch plans. Moving from monthly to annual applies right away. Moving from annual back to monthly takes effect at your renewal date.
Do I pay for users?
No. Users and team members are unlimited on every plan. Invite your whole team, set permissions, and never think about seat counts. You only pay for active screens.
Can I use multiple locations?
Yes. Multiple locations are included on every plan. Group your screens by campus, building, or room and publish to any of them from one console.
What happens when my trial ends?
Your screens keep playing the last content you published, and your account moves to read-only mode. You can log in, browse everything, and export your content. You simply will not be able to publish changes until you subscribe. Nothing disappears, and nothing goes dark. If an account stays unsubscribed for 90 days it is archived: your content and settings are saved, playback pauses, and subscribing at any time brings everything back.
